Cross Country/ Schooling

Our cross country offers something for every level of ability from small rustic uprights to more challenging obstacles. It also provides riders with an excellent oppurtunity to prepare for the hunting season. Built over 200 acres of farm and woodland, the course includes over sixty fences including natural stone, log and bank fences as well as challenging water complexes. Choose from over 30 experienced cross country hunters to suit your standard and with expert tuition we ensure you of an exhilarating experience. Abbeyfield is a regular venue for Hunter Trials, Hunts, and Pony Clubs. For those who wish to come with their own horses, we are open all year round for schooling, training and leisure riding.
